What Clover does not let you know when you sign up and it is in the contract is that they will charge you $25.00 charge back fee. So lets put this in perspective. You have a small sandwich shop and you have a charge back of 10.00. Clover will reverse the 10.00 charge and charge you 25.00. Wow....I don't know about you but that is a big hit...we pay .05 per transaction then the charges for MC and Visa then to be hit with a 25.00 charge back fee... When does it end. READ and ASK about the CHARGE BACK FEES! BUYER BEWARE
Clover isn’t the best pos system at all. My friend use one of these in his cafe and it seems to work well but it really lacks flexibility and some special functions. When I was opening my restaurant I’ve chosen the Smart POS system. This company isn’t really famous but their system is quite decent. Here’s my set posvt.com It’s definitely better than clover.

The cloud-based Clover provides POS functions such as credit card processing, voids and refunds, adding tips, and reporting.
Clover is a very acceptable point of sale system for small businesses, as long as you understand the risks and challenges of using First Data for payment processing and hardware/software support and are pretty confident you want to use Clover for the long-haul (or you can afford to buy new equipment if Clover doesn’t work out). Also, make sure you are comfortable with the bank/merchant account you purchase Clover from because you’ll be relying on them for most support-related issues. Autre constat, la portance des sols qui s’est améliorée avec l’introduction d’espèces sélectionnées pour la pâture, le RGA et le trèfle blanc, mais aussi par le mode de conduite du pâturage. Le surpiétinement néfaste est en effet évité, notamment lors des journées humides durant lesquelles l’éleveur change les animaux de cellule tous les jours. Au final, les modifications sur l’exploitation auront été radicales  : intégration des légumineuses sur l’ensemble de la surface, totalité de la SAU passée en prairies, redécoupage de la surface pour l’adapter au pâturage (zones d’abris, parcours, système de clôtures amovibles, alimentation des parcelles pâturées par un réseau d’eau…). Mais l’éleveur a engagé progressivement ce bouleversement, en conduisant des essais puis en testant la faisabilité du système durant un an sur un lot de 150 brebis. Il poursuit à présent ses expérimentations pour renforcer le nombre d’espèces dans ses mélanges, notamment avec l’introduction de chicorée et plantain, sur les critères de productivité hivernale et résistance à la sécheresse en été. Ces espèces se montrent déjà prometteuses. « Notre métier n’est pas constitué de recettes toutes faites, et nous devons sans cesse expérimenter pour progresser  », conclut A. Delpech.


Their customer service SUCKS!!!!!!! I have been put on hold for up to 30 minutes to have them get on the line and tell me I need to call a different number! Yes they can NEVER find your merchant ID number it's like you don't even exist. We are not a restaurant, and we have had to put our inventory in three different times! The little barcode scanner on the screen constantly stops working and when I tried to purchase a handheld barcode scanner just yesterday I spent the entire day on the phone, getting transferred, being put on hold, told I have to call different numbers and was finally told that they would email me the paperwork to get a scanner, and this is the best part.........they can't send the scanner until they receive my check BECAUSE THEY DONT TAKE CREDIT CARDS! What a ridiculous rinky dink operation! Run far far away from this system!
